SAM DAVIES

Sam Davies joined Networkology as a Technology Consultant in 2019. Working alongside other consultants and led by James, he develops and maintains customised network management tooling and build platforms for our customers. Alongside this, Sam supports our Networks team, given his considerable network experience.Sam moved from the public sector in 2008, having spent seven years working at a military base delivering software applications for fast jet deep maintenance programmes, and later running the Network Management team. He joined the Network Implementation Team in Airbus Defence and Space, where he delivered simple solutions to complex problems across both Uk and overseas military sites, utilising his strong background in networking and software development. Working as a Principal engineer, Sam was engaged in many deliveries from overseas deployments to large-scale data centre upgrades, with one such project seeing Sam receive a commendation for the re-design and delivery of a large scale re-architecture of two critical data centres whilst maintaining live service for hundreds of thousands of users. After 11 years, Sam ended his time at Airbus leading the Implementation team, leaving a legacy of systems, processes, and successful deliveries.Sam’s two-decade career has seen him pick up vast experience of military applications, systems, and associated network infrastructure. As a family man, Sam brings a balance to work that is crucial to long term success, and his values align with the core Networkology values.
