Key to any and all network surveys is the accurate capture of all pertinent information at all key locations. This is to ensure our engineers start the design process fully armed with the knowledge they require to produce a coherent, functional and robust solution. The customer’s needs are met as well as ensuring both the customer and Networkology are aware of and can highlight any areas of concern which need addressing.
Installing a wireless network can be an expensive investment, and a wireless site survey is key to a successful deployment. Whether you already have an existing wireless network, would like to address a specific issue and utilise new revolutionary wireless techniques to enhance network performance, or you are building a brand-new wireless network, a wireless site survey will ensure optimum performance for your business and your users.
CONDUCTING THE SURVEY
Our engineers will conduct a wireless network survey with your goals in mind. Accurately determining your business needs will allow us to ensure the survey addresses all possibilities, to identify specific network issues, establish areas of desired coverage, determine the best locations, the configuration and the number of access points required to ensure 100% connectivity. Networkology can also offer Virtual Site Surveys, which rely purely on using floor plans and high-quality drawings of your site. Taking into consideration floor and wall materials, our engineers will provide recommendations on the position and the number of access points required.

NETWORK SPECIALISTS
Networkology’s long track record of planning and delivering time-sensitive and mission-critical network deployments comes to the fore when building the rollout plan. Key to this is timing any potentially disruptive work to best fit the customer’s business needs. For complex deliveries a phased approach is often employed where key sections of the network are implemented/upgraded in elements. This allows customer operations to continue and ensures that any issues can be managed and eliminated in a timely manner without impacting the customer’s day-to-day operations.
All Network deployments are overseen by a dedicated Implementation Manager who is responsible for co-ordinating the engineering team on site and acts as the customer liaison throughout the delivery window and during aftercare. During commissioning comprehensive functional and performance testing is carried out to ensure the equipment is working as intended and ready to provide the required wireless service. Any issues found at this stage are promptly addressed in consultation with the customer to ensure zero or minimal service disruption.
